Greetings Venezians,
For the past month, we have been accepting skilled individuals into Vanguard, have been taking the initiative to guard various events, with interestingly positive results, and because of this we have been constantly laughed at by the High Command for "doing something that is completely useless" and "doing Military Police's job."
The system created by Vanguard allows trainers to summon Vanguard guards to attend their training events, and guard them. This has been denied entirely by the Officer base and the High Command, even though they were the ones who told us that we are the Guards of Venezia.

The High Command gave us one task: To guard. Now that we are Guarding, we have been laughed at, called useless, and denied the power to guard.
This stops now, we are moving on.

PROPOSAL:
The focus of Vanguard will shift to 100% raiding, scrimmages, and skill all in areas of Sword Combat, similar to Replica Force's work only in Sword Combat.
Guarding is useless. We're moving to something that will benefit FEAR, by winning raids, winning scrimmages, and making a name for Vanguard.

"No Support.
Officers are taught how manage and control their events. Having guards 'control' the trainees is unnecessary and distract both the Host, and the trainees. It will call for a cause of drama, and people will try to disrupt on purpose to get a reaction from the guards. We are capable to the point where we can handle our events. If we can't we shouldn't be Officer."
This petition clearly states the removal of Guarding from Vanguard.
Please read the petition and stop assuming it's about the argument we had earlier today.

Whilst I agree with the petition I appreciate the fact that we are moving from useless guarding to actually benefiting FEAR militarily.

Support, I think it's important to have a sort of police at trainings and raids. I like how they stop the trouble before the trainer does. So in conclusion, They are important.

Support. As I former sword fighter myself, the elite swordfighters in FEAR should able to raid, scrim and etc, and get much attention as RF does.

If the FEAR Vanguard is shifting to a total focus on sword fighting, then FEAR Honor Guard now has interest in fighting. You want a fight between FEAR and FEAR over the bloxy, here we go. |
