here you go, m'lord
During the early years of Southside's founding in 2081, the community was loosely guarded as a CDF settlement and was dependent on a few sentry troops who stayed nearby at the prison. The civilian populace wanted a more certain source of protection, even something more than their own rifles. The Halfmoon Security company was instated as a loose membership of local men who could provide a larger presence. They charged a few cents, and bartered for foods and supplies. Over the years of the modernization from the MEB and founding of the Republic, the company went bankrupt. They had shut down, being stagnant for a decade until 2106, when the founder saw the absence of the now condemned Sheriffs' Department within the private businesses. As the conflicts grew, the Marshals replaced the Sheriffs, and eventually the company had to get back up and adapt to the market. Charges got more severe and expensive, and they lost many lower class customers. And with the low paying clients out of the way, the company went on to the extent of jobs like protecting independent caravans or a significant bounty on a person's head. The company covered many broad objectives of which they gladly accepted and completed. The company stands based out of an office building near Atlanta. |
