This Lore/Guide is about the United Polski Initiative, otherwise known as the UPI.

Lore:
The United Polski Initiative was originally founded within -22-3 to serve as a defense division after the Danes left. However, the founders were upset over the fact that the residents of -22-3 would give thanks to the outpost leaders, not the UPI, when the outpost was attacked. Also, the leaders of the United Polski Initiative felt offended of how -22-3 supported halvdes, whereas the UPI was strongly against them. Finally, one day, the current leader, a man named Alesky Krakowski, decided that, "Enough is enough!" He got his group together, and announced to -22-3 and the residents that they were leaving the outpost. As soon as the leaders of -22-3 were aware, the members of UPI left the outpost, and never made any attempt to contact -22-3. For a couple of weeks, the UPI wandered the wastelands, looking for a place to settle down. Finally, the leader, Alesky, decided to set headquarters over in an abandoned submarine found breaking through the ice.
Today, the United Polski initiative is a military group that has grown somewhat ever since we settled in the abandoned sub, now known as Fort Nadzieja . We attain our weapons from scavenging pre-war military ruins, so our main arsenal is weapons from before the Great War. Our specops, GROM, is based off of an old Polish military group. Our economy is based off of trading with the residents of Proven and with other groups.

Faction Relations:
UAE:
Even though the UPI has yet to encounter the UAE, they have doubts about becoming allies, due to the UAE'#####l#####nifest destiny" practice. However, the UPI leader wishes the best out of any encounter.
-22-3:
Ever since we split away, the UPI has not made any attempt to contact -22-3. The UPI tries to avoid any contact with -22-3 as much as possible, as they fear -22-3 assumes them as an enemy.
Natives of Greenland:
One of the reasons the UPI left -22-3 was because the outpost supports Halvdes, whereas the UPI opposes them. Today, the UPI carries out their vision: to wipe out the Halvdes. Any and all Halvdes they encounter, they eliminate without question or doubt. They kill Halvdes because the UPI fears the radiation can turn them feral, making them extremely dangerous.
RDA:
The UPI views the RDA not as a potentially dangerous enemy, but as a valuable ally. Even though the UPI hasn't yet contacted the RDA, the Polish leader, Alesky, wishes to pursue a friendly relationship with the Danish.
