I had pre-ordered it and mained a DH. DH's were extremely fun and pretty powerful when the game came out. It is kind of grindy though so I do suggest playing with friends..

When the game launched I grinded up all the way to level 107 with like 3 other friends which made defeating mini bosses and leveling pretty fast Here's a tip though: Do NOT kill the rares or open chests until you reach max level. The reason for this is because since every zone scales to the respective level that you are, it is best if you wait until max level because you have a better chance at better loot.

also adding on to what divided said buy the artifact knowledge items before you open the AP chests because they'll be worth up to 2500x more

artifact knowledge helps SOOOOO much. so right when you get that unlocked start investing in that because it helps the percentage of AP you receive from quests and such

Play with friends. I have it, but haven't been able to get on in ~3 months due to research-related work. It's a good game, but you may tire of the grind if you don't have a cool squad to play with.
