Hello, my name is GoBeingBanned and I am running for Prime Minister of the Italian Republic.
In this new era for Italy, our republic is suffering. Not only suffering from inactivity, but from irrelevance and the same circle of leaders time and time again. The truth is clear, new leadership must come in order to fix the mistakes of the past. Italy must modernize or be left behind in the dust of nations like the United Kingdom and the USA. Leaders of the past have left or failed, and looking to govern Italy the same as it always has been is a flaw that we cannot allow to happen, which is why I have decided to run for Prime Minister of the Republic.
For too long has the system of a dictatorship failed Italy, and I will assure we stay far away from this system in the future. I will assure the people have a voice in the government, and will not allow government officials to raise to the power that the government had under the dictatorship.
The restoration of Italy will not be simple, and it will not be an easy task. We must all work together to assure Italy is revived.
The Legal System
In order for Italy to succeed, we need a proper legal system! Laws must be drafted, crimes must be defined, the court must be efficient. As a retired minister of justice in this nation, Russia, and multiple high ranking positions within the United States court system, I can assure you I can perfect a legal system for this nation, to assure the fair and just operations of the government and her citizens, as well assure the distribution of justice to all citizens fairly, regardless of position or status.
My main goal within the legal system will be to assure the proper functioning of the Ministry of Justice, assuring it is capable and willing to adapt to a more modern Italy, as well working with other government officials and Italian citizens in writing a full legal code for the republic.
The Military
The Italian Forces are one of the only things in Italy that remain active throughout any obstacle, and I will assure it remains this way. I will work closely with incoming President BrandonRenzi to assure the proper administration of the military and its personnel. The Italian Forces still has a chance to be a world class military force, easily capable of matching the strength of larger and similarly sized nations. For Italy to once again become internationally relevant, our military must once again become internationally relevant. We must work with allies in the community to grow our military once again, as it was in the past.
The Carabinieri
The Carabinieri has always been wonderful, a true representative of Italian might and pride. My only goal for the Carabinieri is to further expand operations and purpose.
Media
The independence of the media is important- which is why as Prime Minister, I would allow the RAI to operate independently from the government of Italy. It is necessary for a democratic nation to allow the independence of media organizations, and RAI is best suited to be ran without government or personal interference.
Senate and Council
I will be working closely with the new Italian Senate being established under the BrandonRenzi presidency, assuring that all elected representatives are working closely together to make Italy as best as it can. I will keep my relationships with the presidency and Senate very closely, to assure all members of government are equally informed on issues and working together to solve them. A united front will be required to bring Italy back to what it once was.
Intelligence
As a retired intelligence officer from many nations, it will be one of my primary goals to assure the proper operation of Italy’s intelligence programs, as well creating new ones. Intelligence is among one of the most important things any nation requires, and Italy could have some of the best intelligence programs in this community. I will be splitting the ISS into two directorates, foreign and domestic, to assure both aspects of Italian intelligence are covered with as much attention as possible, as well assuring the GOI and ITAF are also contributing to intelligence.
Foreign Affairs
The foreign affairs of Italy have suffered too long due to complete lack of any attention at all, and as such will be a top priority for me. We have ignored the UN, we have ignored our closest allies, we have ignored everyone. For Italy to revive our relations must revive. I will be working closely with the government to reach out to many nations in order to make ourselves internationally relevant again, as is our right to be as one of the oldest nations on roblox. I will personally seek out and hire skilled ambassadors to Italy if required.
Employment
As Italy has grown inactive, so has employment within government organs. This is unacceptable- I will assure that all ministers and directors employ as many people as possible while still operating effectively, recruitment to the ITAF will be pushed and ministries will be ordered to create employment policy to adapt with a more modern, active Italy. I will attempt to create jobs for each and every person that wants one in Italy!
