Welcome, my friends to what is to be your LONGEST and BEST ever adventure in your lifetime, you will go across beautiful terrain, sights that only very few people can see and much, much more.
You have spawned at base camp, where your journey to the summit of Everest will begin. You see many different tents, you are looking for one that is named "Utilities Tent." There you will find your oxygen, crampons, bags and clothes. Make sure you turn flow off in the bottom left of your screen. You will turn that off and look for the Khumbu Icefall, this is very recognisable as it is the start of your journey. You will go through that, and see ladders, you either climb them or go across it depending on whether or not the ladder is vertical and horizontal. (Beware of holes that you might fall in, if you fall in them reset or wait for S&R.) Once you have climbed the last vertical ladder in the icefall, you will see the sign in the sky saying CAMP 1. Find your way to it. Congratulations, you have reached the 1st camp out of the 4 in the game and in real life, in camp 1 there is nothing that is use to you. You can meet there with friends aswell.
Now you have passed camp 1, you should proceed to camp 2. Now you should go over the hilly terrain, try not to become lost or hurt. There should be a small rocky part with a cave on, you could call that the mini summit. Once you have passed/seen that, you should continue up. You are continuing upwards until you see # wall with ice on the top of it. You should then see # big rock part at around 1600m, this means you are on track. Then, continue upwards. Once you have continued upwards, you should see a large flat surface at 2100m. Continue upwards after. At 2400m, you need to turn your flow on. Once at 2400m, there is a large wall to climb up, there are ladders on the very far left. Once you have climbed that ladder you are not far from camp 2. There you can refill oxygen. When your in a storm, stop at camp 2 so it is not dark, gloomy and dangerous when you continue upwards. You will see a considerably large flat part with steep snow afterwards at 3121m. This part is fairly easy and if your a good climber you can get up. Continue upwards. You will then see ladders at 3600m. Climb them, then you are one step closer to summiting! Remember; you can stop for a small break at any time. Once the ladders are climbed you will need to follow the guide ladders. Keep following them until you see camp 3 at 5300m. There you should refill water and oxygen. If you follow the guide ladders, you should see the ladders at 5600m. Climb them. At 6100m, the ladders will stop and then new ones will appear shortly after. Again, at 6600m the ladders will stop once again. Do not be alarmed, go to your right and continue. On your very far right, you can see a ladder, climb it. Then camp 4 is in sight. Then climb to it. Refill your oxygen and continue. When you reach 7400 head to your right for a new ladder. The ladder you climb will lead onto Jungle Gym, this is kind of like a spiral of ladders. When you reach the top of Jungle Gym, there are 2 options, take the leap of faith onto the next ladder, or go around, you decide, to go around you go where the oxygen masks are then climb on. At 8000m, your final push to the summit is in your hands. Follow the guide ropes. You have then reached your first wobbly ladder, either go on it or avoid it by going to your left. Then there is a hole, go on the rock wall to your left and climb around it. You may need to use shift lock switch. Then there is another rock wall almost identical to the one you climbed before. Then scramble up to the next bridge. Now you make the most important decision, you either cross the bridge, or go around on the right hand side, I prefer going around. Then do another scramble going up. Your altitude should be 8400m. Then there are more guide ladders, clim them. Then go to the very left side of the map. You have reached the Hilary Step. Now you cross the small ladder and get past. Once done, you go to the next ladder, then the next, however this one is wobbly, so you should take a shortcut to your right. Congratulations, you have SUMMITED Everest V2, now what will you do? Climb more, adventure caves?
Notes.
If this does not work for you, bring a expert sherpa along with you. They will be of most use. Or bring S&R with you.
To become a sherpa, just go to guide school trainings and then you can become a sherpa, if you already are a sherpa, join it so you can get higher ranks!
