Hi, I'm TheRatchetGoomba (duh).
I am a former democratic representative with 7 consecutive terms, former Majority/Minority leader, HEC Chairman (back when HEC/SEC were still things), and Dean of the House proving that I have experience within Congress. I have never been involved in a single scandal while I was in Congress, so you'll know that I am a clean guy.
I'm not gonna make this speech super long because I know for a fact nobody will read it but I am running because I want to help the American people. When I was in Congress I got bills to pass, yes, but I also got average citizens to PM me their self-made bills and I would present them at a session. If I win, I plan to do this again, so that I can represent the people to the best of my ability. A Congressman/woman's main purpose is to represent the people after all!
I'm not gonna make any promises, but if I win, I shall represent you, the people, to the best of my ability. Thank you.
