Hello! I was thinking that you could add a variety of different programming languages like Unity has. I suggest adding C#, Java script, C++, and more. I think this should be added because, well, let's be honest. Most people that haven't been on ROBLOX have no clue what Lua is. I think more well-known languages should be added so more developers want to join in. This would also make the website more proffesional. If you have another suggestion for a programming language to add to studio then say so! I really think doing this would make the experience on studio more detailed and fun. Please reply if you want this to be put into action!

Any more ideas for more programming languages?

more like restart roblox[2] no support because ROBLOX would have to redo their whole engine in another language. this would also cause other platforms to glitch out already enough.

But it'll have more known languages then.

this engine took 18 years to be what it is today, wanna spend 18 more years on something that would probably be the least thing their worried about?

no, things will get way too confusing, and the Lua that roblox uses was specifically modified to be simplified for its users. that would take ages to do with c++, etc

lua is interpreted into c++ at run-time. So theoretically roblox could implement c++ but the problem there is making the code for each client the same. lua is simple text based so that inst a problem. c++ is ready to be pushed through the drivers of your CPU and graphics so I don't know. Possible but likely to happen, doubt it. What we need though are lua shaders. like boo shaders. So we can edit lighting and pixel locations after the render process. So we can do custom post processing effects. Like blur and sun shafts. That would allow anti-aliasing and distortions and such.

Oh, I didn't think about that. Also, national_security, you code?
