Doesn't even think the Spurs could win two games against the Warriors in a series, and thinks the West is completely a cakewalk and the Eastern Conference is really difficult this year. East coast bias imo yeah I know the Raptors, Wizards, and Celtics are all good but the Spurs and Rockets and perhaps even Jazz and Clippers are good out in the West
TL;DR in all that wall of words I just typed out: The East is harder than usual but the West isn't a "cakewalk"
Colin Cowherd you are now on my hate list with Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith and pretty much any sports radio/TV personality ever |
both conferences suck outside the top 2 teams each
the nba sucks in general |
Cowherd is actually smart tho. and he's not wrong, Warriors have a better chance than the Cavs do of making the finals. although i think the top of the West is better than the top of the East, overall the East might have more parity this year than the West this year. |
considering the >>WOLVES<< are only a few games out is all you have to stay about how bad the west sucks this year |
....and he's also a bumbling racist buffoon, but yes his opinions about sports are uneducated and absurd

"Cowherd is actually smart tho."
I thought he was relatively smart, but the man doesn't even realize the Spurs are 3 1/2 games back from Golden State, he literally thinks it's Golden State and then a pile of crap and then the Spurs and everyone else |

NBA in a down year for sure, I'll ride Portland till I die but we are in no way a playoff team yet we, the Wolves, the Kings are all within walking distance of an 8 seed. All 3 mediocre at best.
He's wrong in saying the West is a cake walk considering the Rockets, Spurs, Jazz, Clippers could all give Warriors trouble in postseason.
I just want this season to be over already so the league gets a chance to spread its talent out again. |

Cowherd generally has strong opinions towards things, of course he seems idiotic when he voices some of them, but i find a lot of times that he's actually being reasonable/right
Bayless is actually a smart analyst, i think he is, but i just think he says stupid stuff for the attention, and he does an amazing job at that. he tries to spark a debate and it works. |
You know, I literally hate Skip Bayless for being a bandwagon AND jump-ship fan. I don't mind bandwagon fans as long as they stick with the team they choose to be a fan of or actually have a reason to jump-ship (liking a parent's college team and then going to a different college team) but Skip Bayless used to be a Thunder fan and not like an NFL team and all of a sudden he likes MY Spurs and Cowboys |
man, the SF really likes to forget how good the top 4 teams in the East are. |
@Deadman
"yeah I know the Raptors, Wizards, and Celtics are all good"
it's like you ignore the entirety of my posts |
two things because you managed to tick me off in one sentence
1. you are not the entire SF, it's kinda like the "MY spurs and MY Cowboys" like, the world exists outside of the giant revolving "sir" planet
2. you can not say something, add a but and a contradictory statement, then say you meant your original statement. that's not how it works |
1. I don't think I see anyone on this thread rail on the NBA Eastern Conference
2. I don't think I made any contradictions in my original post, but try again. All I said is the East is "harder than usual" but I still stand by my criticism of it being "really difficult" |

Is the east getting better?
Or are the Cavs becoming less dominant?
?????????????

Actually, I stand corrected, vikingsfan is the only one here that is technically "railing" on both conferences but he doesn't really count as he doesn't care for pro basketball |

Celtics and Wizards on the rise, we all knew about the Raptors and Cavs. |

From my experiences listening to cowherd, he's one of those guys that only uses stats and doesn't actually look at film or evaluate talent.
He actually said if the pats lost to the Steelers the pats would look for a replacement for Tom Bray LOL |

I mean he said ##### ##### didn't do anything in SB as if 87 yds is nothing compared to AB's 30 ### yds. He was a tool for that Julio comment |
