Roblox please do the following to fix your servers:
Do a bandwidth/Speed test monthly for all users to determine how they rank amongst players, And then with the information make a special code that puts high speed internet users in certain servers and low speed internet users in other servers, This way they can all lag each other but the high speed users have smooth game play not having low speed users causing lag in their game.
I call this method The Sterncross Way(TM) or TSW(TM) for short.

Interesting Idea. They might already have something like this. Users in the same game have to be on the same server though, so perhaps a different route there?

You can't fix lag.
idiot.
Lag depends on your computer or Internet.
But you can never fix lag.

What Lego said.
Get a better computer or Wifi kid

@Lego I get what he's saying. He's saying to ######### all better internet players from worse internet players, not how to remove lag. The title is misleading, but you clearly didn't read. |

And even though this is unrelated, there ARE ways for lag to be fixed without the user having to do anything.

theres a thing called lagswitching

Ok okay, is there a reason why there is a plug in of NO LAG?. Or is there? |

Lag isn't being reduced by doing this, it's just being sorted out. To fix Lag, ROBLOX would need to come up with a way to display a compressed version of the game and just have the visual aspects of the game show up in the temp folders, but this would call for a lot of work, and encryption. The smarter way is to get a better computer. |

He means network lag, the delay in the data sent by players such as movement. It depends on the amount of time it takes to get there, as well as ur transmission rate. So, it could be fixed as much as possible by making sure each user's data is taking the shortest route. That is, if they don't already do that. It could also be fixed by getting faster internet access. |

@OP, although there'll still be the issue of lag due to the distance between roblox servers and players outside of the US, the idea you proposed would fix issues that you mentioned before, like in fighting/FPS games, where lag can severely affect gameplay between players and cause annoying deaths
p.s: support again

This is actually effective.
TD:LR
Because, it takes more time for a server to process the laggy player's requests. Less time to process the others..
Per request tick, a server normally does all the requests received, and sent back.
However, when a laggy user requests, it takes too long to receive and send back, because of ping. The process it halted, until that laggy user's stuff are actually done. This kills the cycle.
====[ Research ]====
I have made a simple ROBLOX client simulator. ROBLOX uses UDP packets, avg load of 2 Kb
5 clients: 2 laggy people, 3 normal.
Each process takes 50 ms to process, but for laggy, it takes 300 ms.
50 roundtrips to each user.
I will come back with results.

lets pull out the bad devices and spam |

@ TEST correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't necessarily take longer to process, the server just has to buffer all the requests because lagger's packets take longer to get to the server. Right? |
