Here is how to host an interview session, interview someone, and help out during interviews. Instructors, Development team, and Helpers+ who wish to help out during interviews must read this before hosting, or helping out during interviews.
HOSTING AN INTERVIEW
To be able to host an interview you must be on the development team. To interview, you must also be on the development team. Please try to have more than one developer at your interview session, we want to have little wait times for our guests.
At least one hour before the interview session stars, shout on the group wall:
INTERVIEWS hosted by (your name) at (time and time zone) Helper+ may come to help us out.
Here is an example
INTERVIEWS hosted by GavinSJ03 at 3:00 EST Helper+ may come to help us out.
Be at the academy at least ten minutes before the interview starts. You are allowed to play music or have the dancers play a game so they are not bored.
When the interview starts say :serverlock to lock the server. Use :m to tell the dancers to line up at the desk in the interview center to book an interview. Instruct admins to name the people. First person that comes to the desk is named 1, next is named 2, next is named 3, and so on. Once everyone is named, use :m to instruct the dancers to sit down and you and the interviewers will each go to an office. Helpers are to supervise the dancers and make sure they are seated. Once you are ready to start interviewing say :bring 1 to bring the person who was first in line and was named 1. See the interviewer session for how to interview someone. If you have two interviewers you might want one interviewer interviewing the even numbered and the other interviewing the odd numbered. Once interviews are done, unlock the server. You may now leave the game.
INTERVIEWING SOMEONE
First, greet the dancer and wish them good luck. Then you may begin interviewing.
Ask them the following questions. You may copy and paste.
-Why do you want to work at Crystal Dance Academy?
-Do you have any other ROBLOX jobs? Please name them.
-How active are you on a scale of one to ten?
-How good do you think your grammar is?
-Are you willing to be professional and responsible while working here?
-Describe yourself in one UNIQUE word.
-Any other thoughts, ideas for the academy, any workers you think deserve a promotion?
Now quickly decide if they passed or not, look for experience, grammar, and if you think they are eligible for a jo# like this. Only fail for good reasons.
If they passed say:
Thank you for coming to the interview, you passed! I am going to rank you up soon!
If they failed say:
Thank you for coming to the interview but I am sorry. You failed. Please try again next time. (Please give them a suggestion for next time)
Teleport the dancer to a helper to get them out of the room. You may now bring the next interviewer.
AV TEAM+ HELPING DURING INTERVIEWS
When the host instructs you to, go to the front desk and help the people who line up.
Greet the person who comes up by saying:
Welcome would you like an interview?
If they say yes, name them, (first in line gets 1, second gets 2...) If there are two people working, one person might want to give out only even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8) and the other, odd numbers. (1, 3, 5, 7)
When they are named say:
Thank you please have a seat and wait to be called.
Once interviews begin, supervise the dancers and make sure they are seated. Answer questions any guest may have and be friendly. Kick anyone being rude or mean.
HELPERS HELPING OUT DURING INTERVIEWS
You job is to supervise and make sure everyone is where they are supposed to be. If the dancers are to be lined up, tell everyone to line up, if they are to be seated, tell them to be seated, be kind and respectful, answer questions guests may have. If someone is being rude or mean call an instructor to help you.
