20 Years Ago...
After the failures of creating a super-weapon that could infiltrate enemy data banks, Johnson M. Xavier was drafted to help create one. Each one of the scientists are taking notes, and are starting to build several machines capable of infiltrating the data banks of the enemy. When presented, however, Dr. Xavier shunned them away, calling them "to dangerous to allow in the outside world." Stunned, the scientists created a virus that would be loaded into each machine, and give it it's own AI. Little did they know that the AI machines would gain their own will and turned against the US, and started to spread. Soldiers from each state started to fight against the virus, deemd the "Xavier" virus by the scientists. They called it that because they lied on who created the machines, saying "Xavier has doomed us all!"
Modern Day...
The Xavier virus has seemed to have dissapeared. While the goverment has kept up the defence of all computers in the world, a mysterious new MMORPG has appeared: The 13 Files. It has little players, and those players don't even appear to be on the face of the Earth. When the goverment realized that the game was harboring the Xavier virus, the site was meant to be shut down. When attempted, each time it failed. The site was kept up, and eventually humans stumbled across it. As they each became their virtual avatars, they litterally became them. Only the best players were able to go to into the game. Even then, only the players of the game can destroy the Xavier Virus and stop it from gaining control of the world and yet again spreading to it.
