Nevada National Guard SECTION I. Introduction If this bill passes, the the Vegas City Council will coordinate with the United States Army to create the Nevada National Guard. SECTION II. Details (a) The Nevada National Guard will be under the United States Army and the City of Las Vegas. (b) The Mayor of Las Vegas and the President, at any given time, may activate ### Nevada National Guard into a regulated militia if he or she believes there is an emergency at Las Vegas that requires military assistance. Otherwise, ### Nevada National Guard will be stationed at ### Military Base at Las Vegas. If requested by local or federal law enforcement and approved by ### most senior National Guard soldier there, they may deploy to assist in taking down a threat. (c) ### Nevada National Guard will consist of United States Army personnel that are placed through a tryout in ### Army. The Nevada National Guard tryouts will *NOT* be like a typical military training. They will undergo tryouts similar to law enforcement, and not everyone will pass. (d) ### ###ada National Guard’s leadership, like real life, will consist of a Brigadier General as the ###mander, and a Command Sergeant Major as the ###ior Enlisted Leader. (f) The Chain of Command for the Nevada National Guard will be the following: Commander-in-Chief (POTUS) Mayor of Las Vegas Chief of Army Staff (not direct command over operations regarding the city, command over staff) Vice Chief of Army Staff (not direct command over operations regarding the city, command over staff) Commander of the Nevada National Guard Senior Enlisted Leader of the Nevada National Guard (g) The Nevada National Guard will receive a team at Las Vegas, and as said previously, they will *NOT* be typical military personnel. They will be trained in law enforcement. They will spawn in th###ilitary base, and their tools will be th###ollowing: M4A1 TAR-21 Barret .50 Cal M124 M9 Tazer Car Spawner (willy’s jeep) Door Opener (military base) SECTION III. Reasoning A lot of times at Las Vegas, local and federal law enforcement cannot handle all the crime. The Nevada National Guard will offer a more regulated law enforcement, who are trained to be mature and disciplined by the military. (btw TheySinned supports this bill) Signed, Councilman Matthew Castellan

Statement from Sen Jay, ok! Nevada "National" Guard In order for it to be a National Guard, it has to be established at the federal level. Secondllllylylyy The military base, is United States Department of Defense property. So is jeep, Congress bought jeep for DoD, not National Scrubs. Why does the mayor even have the authority, I thought the state called the national guard. Chief of Army Stafff should have nooooooooooooooooo authority over National Guard, except the Secretary of the Army. What else? Oh yeah, DoD once tried to re-establish a National Guard. It failed. Miserably. Besides, that one already has legislation passed, why not revive that one. I Suggest all councilmen & women to Nay this, this is poor legislature and gives power to the wrong peoples.
