i mean roblox has been publically operating for... what, 10 years isnt it? and business wise, they've been pushing towards a more lucrative business model for that entire time. the issue is that with how much money and players they've already built up, losing players doesn't matter - if the active user count starts to drop after an update, they can just bump up their advertising budget for a bit until they make back all the players (and by extension money) they lost in the first place. i mean look at the forums, as soon as they realized the forums aren't monetizable they just replaced pretty much all moderation with a cheaper (and much worse) automated system, which is why probably half of this message is gonna be in hashtags once i post it. any chance of saving this site is long gone, both in terms of community and in terms of administration, and frankly i'd recommend everyone leave like i did if only because your life will improve tenfold once you stop visiting this site regularly
