I've only recently gotten medication for ADHD as an adult. All throughout school and even through college until last semester, my grades were B average and I could almost never get ## ## # busted my block and still didn't do great. Had some Cs, whatever. Failed a math class and had to retake it. I was getting so angry because school has always been such a struggle and I can't get straight As (except last semester!! My lowest was a B in Economics and I cried happy tears!), meanwhile you get people bragging about 4.3 GPAs and making huge scenes when they get Bs.

Since being medicated I've done leagues better. Didn't believe ADHD was a real thing, either. Just because it's over-diagnosed. I always thought I was just a lazy piece of poo' because I was putting forth so much effort and yet not getting anything done. Now I know better.

the american education system is dumb. i still get good grades but they are dumb and dont represent my intelligence. i also have extremely extremely severe ADHD.

I agree the United States education is out of tune. They give us classes like math which teaches us nothing more than to critically think. Education doesn't teach us anything more than that. In a perfect world in my mind, an education system should help you go down a path towards a career to fine tune your skills. This could be in taxes, how to properly pay for bills and what to look for. So on and so forth. The education system expects parents to teach their kids that when a majority of the time they don't. I am fortunate enough to have successful parents where they are able to pass their experiences and what to do down to me; unfortunately others around the world do not have that same leisure. and the education system will never change, unfortunately.

i agree those 3 are the most necessary. however, to an extent grammar is fairly necessary. especially when it comes to punctuation and creating sentences to the best of your ability. math is all critical thinking unfortunately. i only despise math because you will never really use anything you learn outside of school besides maybe geometry for architecture science would be stuff for like biology, physical earth science, environmental science, and chemistry and physics are all great however should vary depending ## #### ##### you are looking to go into and world history is definitely important especially when it comes to politics and learning about the past. WW2 for example is one of my most favorite topics in US history at the moment because I find the noozies so intersting

i'm not naturally good at school, it's basically just putting an effort to it, in ## middle school i only got 80s, i started to get ## priorities straight and im doing good in high school btw i'm not in ### american school system i'm in a superior education high school, (it's called ITESM, and yes it's in mexico) pretty good school not everybody can get in, it's also really expensive like 1k ### a month
