Why you remove this feature? Come on! Bring it back! It's ruining ROBLOX!! In some games, this feature is usefull. I know a game that this feature is REQUIRED. But now we cannot use it anymore. Bring it back really. That's classic. Don't remove every single classic ROBLOX related!

I didn't even know this was removed omg! Did they make a post about this cause I had no idea. I just thought the game didn't allow dropping hats or I just didn't need to use it. |

didnt u see the atr post
it was a legacy feature which was only for a certain platform and it caused massive lag if it was spammed
there is also a script to put in your game if you want it back |

I get where you're coming from here, but if the "drop hats" feature is required for a game to function, the developer of that came could (and should) easily script it in themselves. Removing that feature made it easier for the overwhelming majority of developers to reduce the amount of player-created litter in their games without the need to try and block the feature.

It's not gone. It's just not in games by default anymore.
Game creators can easily put it back in their own games using code that Roblox already gave out. |

It's scriptable. They even put the script to keep it in the DevForum.

The reason why they removed it because it can cause lag and so many hats in a game can cause massive lag out.

Christ, people. Can you give the guy some slack. He probably misworded it, and now you're all going ape on him because of it.
Literally, this idea is actually OK if it was in the form of a checkbox that was by default checked and could be easily unchecked. It's not that hard and ROBLOX has done that with other features anyways. |

I say Bring back the Drop Hat button because in some games you need to take off your hats to put other hair on. |

Why make it a checkbox when it can be done by a few lines of code. You don't even need to know how to script, they gave it to you.
