For small introductory information, you can find that in the group description. This thread serves to define each rank and what you can expect from each.
Awaiting Approval: this rank means you've just joined and we're checking to see if you're someone we aren't on good terms with. If that doesn't apply, you'll most likely be accepted in.
Folk of Exile: you've drained our patience in one way or another; most likely through agitation or by ignoring our customs.
New Blood: you've been welcomed into the Fjord and are new to our community. You'll need to prove yourself and pick a tribe, or remain a Drengr.
Drengr of the Fjord: you're not ready or willing to join a tribe yet, but you've proven yourself capable.
TRIBES/INNER CLANS-
Folk of the Eagle: known for a respectable range with a bow and an eye for incoming danger, members of this tribe are known for caution and perception both on and off the field. Often recognized for being cautious traders as well.
Folk of the Raven: cunning and intelligent, these members are fond of forming basic strategies for our warriors and often have a hand in trade. When on the field, scouting and finding weaknesses comes naturally.
Folk of the Bear: hard to take down and a friend to wisdom, members of this tribe rely on long-term experience and tenacity to get through long raids and difficulties. Patience and fortitude come easy to those of Folk found here.
Folk of the Wolf: always seek in packs, these members are no stranger to helping a friend in need while relying on aggression to drive the enemy back. Commonly known to hold roles as berserkers for the Fjord.
LEADERSHIP-
Allied Gestir: allied "guests" to the Fjord, this rank primarily consists of leaders and diplomats from other groups, organizations, tribes, and otherwise- if we ever form any allies.
Tribe Shamans of Guidance: those who help our newest members adapt to the Fjord and choose a tribe. They will often use this thread as a basis for their decisions.
Leaders of the Four Tribes: self-explanatory. These four individuals lead their respective tribes. They can only be chosen by the Fjord-Master and referred by the Highlord. Begging for one of these positions will likely land you in exile or worse. Earn your place in the Fjord.
Highlord of the Fjord: when the Fjord-Master is not present, the Highlord leads. When the Fjord-Master is present, the Highlord advises, assists, and acts without hesitation for the Fjord-Master and for the sake of the Folk.
Fjord-Master Nox: the leader of the Folk of the Fjord. This position cannot be obtained and cannot be challenged. Doing so will land you in bad favor with the Fjord. |
