Hello, I am Councilman Tim_Norton and today I am asking for your consideration on reelecting me this coming up term. I have been a council member for as long as I have been in Norfolk, after rejoining 4 months ago I rejoined the Council as well and have been council ever since. I am currently the City Council Chairman, I have passed major amendments, bill, and etc. I wish to continue doing this while listening to public’s opinion as I do with most of my major amendments that will affect others. Here are a few major things that I have accomplished while in council for these past 4 months. I have made the Department of Corrections a minor department before speaking with the Department Head and making sure he was ok with it. After, this amendment passed the Department of Corrections had its biggest class ever with 15+ cadets. This is only one of my accomplishments, I have also made and passed the Life in Prison amendment that allows anyone that has made threats upon the public in a t###########way they are to be arrested in-game and then put to a fair trial where the judge/jury will decide on a verdict which would be life in prison or other consequences. Also, with the decrease of members in the Department of Corrections I, and the help of other councilmen worked to make Department of Correction a minor department for the benefit of it’s activity, performance, and members. I proposed this amendment to council, afterwards it was passed establishing Department of Corrections as a minor department. So far the department of corrections has been very efficient with activity and it’s boost of members. Finally, I want to thank you all for your consideration of reading my candiancy letter.
