Since taking office as Secretary of Homeland Security, I immediately began reforming, restructuring, reorganizing, and stabilizing the Department of Homeland Security. From changing, implementing, and enforcing new policy to maintain a level of maturity, focus, and department-wide professionalism, to organizing and creating effective systems that will ensure constant moderation of the department and its components, establishing the Office of Intelligence to, of many of its more vast duties, immediately look into personnel misconduct reports along with creating a department-related personnel report center for citizens that come across and personnel misconduct, to simply maintaining oversight over the department and its components while allowing the directors and commanders of the divisions to lead their agencies with my assistance if needed, I have sought a more realistic, effective, and smoothly operational department.
There is, of course, much more work to get done that I, along with my command and my newly selected and suggested, hopefully, incoming Deputy Secretary, Frosty6540, are most definitely going to get done. In order to ensure we are covering, repairing, and building up all points required to render a fully effective and operational department, the Department of Homeland Security administration come to you, the citizens, of whom experience the department and its personnel from the outside, to give to us any questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, ideas, or anything else that you may want to provide to the department administration, that you come across and feel is a positive addition, a negative addition, should be changed, should be added, etc.
A large part of my administration was to ensure that the department maintains an exceptional level of transparency to the citizens and employees alike, hence why I am making this response. The Department of Homeland Security is a service to the citizens and directly work to ensure that our homeland is secure, safe, and resilient for everyone at all times. This requires that the department openly communicate with the American citizens and receive and listen to all of their feedback.
As a result, please comment below any of the above stated and please, in your reply, add what department component you are commenting in regard (Secret Service, Federal Protective Service, Homeland Security, etc.).
