Hello, City of Norfolk!
I'm Prophix, most everyone in Norfolk knows me, due to my extensive history with other groups.
I'm, yet again, running for City Council. Should I be elected this time around, this term will be my second consecutive term as a councilperson.
During my first time as Councilperson, I proposed a bill to amend City Charter Amendment VII, Section 2, which, in a nutshell, allowed High Command members from departments to be affiliated with another department, so long he or she isn't High Command in the secondary department. This passed 5-0-0.
Other miscellaneous experience I have within the city would be department experience. I served in the Norfolk City Police Department a total of, what I believe, four times, give or take, the last time I took part in the department was around the time period of which the Founder had retired for a new project. I have taken part in Norfolk City Department of Corrections, as well, one time. I was in the department for about 2 months before leaving due to inactivity. Although the experience I possess within departments is somewhat slim, I still find that I have absorbed a significant amount of knowledge regarding the laws and Charter to help me along the way.
My best strengths are strategic, honesty, liability, integrity, and trust. I strive to meet the standards of the citizens, as well as propose ideas in order to make improvements, no matter how significant, for the city and those in it.
