What have they done for the Roblox community?
Instead of giving clothing designers money, now much of their work is just stolen by current BC members, who even with their Robux, will still steal and copy clothes. This could have been avoided by not instigating a price floor.
The fiasco with NBC clothing groups, which is now removed as well. Damage already done.
Of course there isn't going to be a backlash for good updates, that's how you can tell they are good updates. Any simpleton can observe that. Making the assumption that the community only complains when these actual terrible updates are pushed on us is not wrong. That's the whole entire idea, if something is going on and you don't like it, then stand up for yourself and make the change you want to see happen.
Roblox doesn't allow this because we, as the player, have zero negotiation leverage. There will always be brainless children on this game who beg their parents for a BC card at CVS or walmart, and Roblox knows this. That's why they're able to get away with what they do.
I'm still stuck back where I was, I don't care about the profile update, I don't care about the thumbnail update. Niether were about driving profits, it was simply to follow the zombified corporation movement of "modernization"
Roblox should always seek to improve itself, but when a large community comes together and doesn't even make a dent, it's time to just sit back and play another game or deal with it.
I use this as a platform for building maps, it's the last thing left that is still remotely fun.
Things I could list on that ruined the fun of Roblox aren't endless, but have power in each item.
Your order to "stop whining" is never going to work and you are a weaker person for trying to stop something you aren't educated on remotely.
I'm not the oldest player on Roblox, only joining in 2012, but I have seen the website and game unravel into the onli######i######spool for 12 year olds it is today.
While its sad to see something like this turn to rot, it was bound to happen with change of management over the years, the new people come in and ruin the idea of Roblox, and if the original co founder were still alive today, he may have turned his head at the sight of what your common Roblox player looks like and what they have to go through to just play a simple game on the front page.
