I hope that a mod actually reads this...
So, as most players of this game probably know, a large portion of the ROBLOX community enjoys to roleplay. However, the ridiculous censorship severely hinders this. Don't get me wrong, the F-bomb and other various curse words should be censored. But whatever censorship method being used right now is broken. For example, one of my characters is named Shinji Kirana. In case that was censored, the name is S|h|i|n|j|i K|i|r|a|n|a. This has absolutely NO reason to be censored. Please, help get this system fixed.

The reason I mentioned the character name is because every game I type it into censors it. Also, I format my characters' heights as follows:
H:x'y"
"x" being feet and "y" being inches. Again, each game censors this. WHY? |

I've been in roblox for so long, and I LOVED the filter back then. It was actually pretty fair.
But now, this filter is so garbage right now. I give you 104% support, and I'm pretty sure everyone agrees with me. For an example, they need to stop censoring the word 'the' and the word 'snupchet' (you know what I really mean) |

I don't think you know this, Mrs/Ms/Mr. Loyal ROBLOXian, but there is a story about why the terrible censorship is in place.
If you look up "6 year gets talks to old man on ROBLOX", you'll see dozens of articles of angry mothers and trigger-happy news outlets explaining how a 6 year old girl was getting creeped on by someone. Guess what happens when a game for children has stuff like that? Angry parents that won't let their kids near that game again. ROBLOX needed to do something to prevent that. So, they added the horrible filter, so when they get a lawsuit filed against them, they can say "Hey, we're using Community Sift, a common filter system that prevents stuff like this!"
If they could change the filter, they most likely would.

I agree with you 100%, also due to this all of the good games are being "verified" and there creators leaving because of it. |

All right. Blame the parents and Community sift. IT's mostly their fault.
Parents fault: Well, it's basically their fault. I can't explain, but it is mainly their fault that their child is on ROBLOX.
Community sift's fault: Basically, i don't really know. But everyone's saying it's just broken. Or Maybe the worst filter out there due to what's happening on roblox.
So just blame the parents and community sift.

As long as there's concerned, over protective parents and news outlets that will make squishing a bug look like a crime, the community and Roblox really don't have alot of control over what filters are suitable for the game.
If a parent finds ANYTHING inappropriate said to their "Precious child", the parent will tell every news outlet they can and completely lash out on Roblox because some little 10 year old called her kid a "Noob".
Unless parents start settling down about something a person on a game told their child that was somehow "Inappropriate", and go ballistic on Roblox (Who I remind you, could easily get SUED over a problem like that), this filter won't change that much.
Sorry to say.
Try not to blame Roblox that much. Blame the parents and media for pushing roblox into this.

This is why everyone just uses blacklists and whitelists for a filter
Or doesn't throw the entire site into chaos because of ONE person's mistake

I know I have the same problem it's starting to get on my nerves I don't understand why there's a chat filter in the first place sometimes |

My groups name was censored, I just found out when I headed over to GRP. I don't see what is it that made it offensive.
