even if you do prefer lana del ray to the beatles, if you actually researched them you'd realize the beatles were a major revolution in production and nearly everything you've ever listened to made past the 60s is derived from them and their production in some way

its very similar to mariah carey, one of the most successful artists of all time
mariah carey isnt regarded with much influence despite being who she is and having done all that she has, but thats probably because shes not white and a woman and the beatles were white british boys |
