Being able to use gear as a Cosmetic

WE all see how the Immortal swords are, Why not be able to allow gear to be cosmetically worn like any other hat instead of it being used in only one game? Anyone up for that idea? Making gear a little more worth buying again? Like for example, I bought an axe for 1k, But can only see it when In a gear war of a gear user place, Or when I "Could" have it equipped on my character But a "hat" version of it in a unsaleable state but is still used cosmetically in only where gear can not be used

I'd wear either a sword or my rifle.

Like a good example, Sword and gun gears such as rifles, Could be holstered on back, And trophies and other social items depending on what they could be like a shoulder piece of some sort
