TL;DR: Taking a picture in real life or taking a picture on your device and then 3D or 2D printing it into ROBLOX studio. Let's say you were standing outside in real life right now, and I wanted to print something into ROBLOX studio WITHOUT building it or making a mesh. If I were to take a picture of (let's say) a tree and then upload it to my computer and then 3D (or 2D) print it into ROBLOX studio, I wouldn't have to build or make the model of a tree at all. How it would work for the 3D printing is you either take more pictures of the tree at different angles or maybe use some other way to do it. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is, it would be really fascinating if you could take a picture of something in real life or take a picture on your computer, and then print it into ROBLOX studio without building or making the model. I know this isn't possible yet for ROBLOX, but let's say I might be predicting the future.

Support!! That'd be really cool, and I'm a crappy builder so this would help. :)

This would require a very good computer.... But this'll be pretty cool. - 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓐𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓬𝓽𝓟𝓵𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻 | Current RAP: R$1,071 | DownWithSift

You can already ## print it. All you have to do is make your photo a decal. But 3D printing sounds cool. I just wonder if it may be too complicated for the computer to identify what is in the photo. Support.

virtually impossible without high tech 3D scanning devices which will cost $$$$$ of dollars. good luck with that one. It is not truth that matters, but victory.

@Ranger "I know this isn't possible yet"

We literally do not have the technology to do something like this. Pictures cannot calculate depth, so recreating the image in 3d would be impossible, no matter how many angles you have.

I feel like this would be super laggy

Roblox would need to make their own device to do this, but sounds pretty cool! Could possibly happen in 2020 or later

#edlon the 3DS camera can calculate depth, but it's not very accurate, and uses several pictures to trick the eye, wait a min hasn't somone already mentioned several pictures?

Why not learn how to build? I am. Also, we don't have the technology. Unsupport.
