"Just have everyone agree to use a certain sword model (that's fixed) that someone trusted uploaded. Honestly, you're making this a lot more difficult than it really is."
It's been tried before. Problem is that you can never get it as perfect as Roblox can. They know the physics engine best and know of all of the workings inside out. It's like having a MadCatz controller vs an official Xbox one. The MadCatz one will do the job just fine, but there'll always be something "off" with it. It won't be as fined tuned as the official controller.
Also, it's not good that clans are dying. Firstly, I remember groups fondly and having incredibly fun moments. It was a staple when I was younger. The few bad ones do not make up all groups. Secondly, if Roblox devoted some of their time to capitalizing clans alongside with pushing professional development, their revenue would increase exponentially. I see it like oil. No one really knew what to do with it until people realized it could be used as a fuel source (not fire, but cars and other vehicles). It can definitely be something more. Plus little kids love roleplaying, and armies can be super fun and cool.
