based on my rough estimate, i could make $23k a year working 5 days a week as a college student (2 days where i take ALL my classes, the other 5 off). after taxes that would be about $18k a year. after gas money, thats about $14.5k a year.... as someone working on campus part time with a summer job, id make about $8-9k a year, which would be about $7-8k a year after gas so the difference between commuting and working hardcore and playing football while living on campus would be about $28k over 5 years, or $35k over 5 based on my rough estimations. have to decide if thats worth it, but im leaning towards no.

wait, forgot to add taxes into the resident equation. with taxes thats about $6k a year as a campus resident. so now we're talking about approximately $34k in differences over 4 years.
