ROBLOX's creativity is dying again, just like 2013 -- but worse.
In Events, ROBLOX is telling us to play other people's games constantly - instead of things like ROBLOX U, where it was all about giving US the power.
Remember the old advertisement? That the PLAYER makes the rules? Good times.
Look at the front page. It hasn't changed for a solid year now, and the games that weren't there aren't particularly creative, or they're clickbait trash (SURVIVE MOM). Many players now don't know how to use studio - not because it's too hard, but because it's documentation and guides are all off-site on the wiki. The current building tools aren't that good either for the more easily-accessible build mode, why not just include some variant of f3x?
The ROBLOX Sets models from the toolbox are another issue, players who don't know about inserting objects using the menu may sit there looking for a flag, for example - clicking free models with viruses because they didn't know you could scroll down to ROBLOX Sets. Why is it at the BOTTOM of the list? I think it should be the default window for the Toolbox.
Players also have no incentive the build without BC - because they can't sell game passes, products, create badges, or do anything like that. NBC players need SOME kind of incentive to build and create. I propose a developer-points system, that can be used instead of ROBUX to (ONLY) create badges, products, and passes.
TL;DR:
I propose:
A developer points system only used to create badges, products and game-passes
A new ROBLOX U event
Better build tools, similar to F3X
Making ROBLOX Sets the default window for the toolbox
A new official building place containing the new tool |
