As we all know, Roblox allows you to buy robux by using your credit card online through the PayPal (or whatever it is ROblox uses). This is a great idea, and several people use this idea daily. However, I, and I'm sure several others agree with me, either can not or would rather not use that system. Some people don't like giving out their credit card information online. Or, if you're a kid (like I am), you don't have access to a credit card. That's why other MMORPGs have started to sell giftcards at retail stores like Gamestop, Best Buy, and so on. For example, you could sell giftcards that are worth 2,000 robux for $20 (or whatever amount). Maybe Roblox isn't a big enough corporation to do this, but if it is, I think that your consumers (us casual users) would be happier, and you guys would make even MORE profit. It's a win-win for those in charge of Roblox. (And the consumer as well.)
So....what do you think, admins?
P.S. Do you guys already do this, perhaps? Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough at the stores in my town. |

Great idea I would love this because I have money but as im only 14 i don't have a credit card or paypal and I would get this. |

^Precisely! There are so many positives to this, that it's nearly-impossible to see why Roblox wouldn't want to at least test the idea out. |

There's either making it or not making it, no in between.

Decent idea, I don't see why not. |

You do have a point that it's all or nothing. Maybe they could do a test run for a month, see how it goes? |
|
OBFJoin Date: 2009-09-29 Post Count: 10709 |
A test run would involve about one million dollars in small, plastic cards, that might not even work. Still want a test run? |

Again, it all depends on how big of a corp. Roblox is and how much money it has to burn. |
|
|
This is a very good idea.
A ROBLOX gift Card.
Smart
You could go to the store and buy it no credit card needed. |

Rune Scape sells membership cards. Perhaps Roblox could do the same in addition to currency cards. |

I support. but can they be sold in british gamestores like HMV,GAME or gamestation? and can you please sell them over the internet. |
|

I'm sure the could sell internationally, but selling them over the Internet kind of defeats the purpose of their existence. |

Three giftcards like Amazon? Forgive me, but I'm not following. Could you clarify just a bit?
Also, I looked up Rixty, and it's a service Coinstar provides. That means a counting fee is charged. That's not the same as the idea here; we want actual liscensed gift cards, ninja, that charge regular fees to make money, not an obscure in-the-way coin counting fee. Plus, Roblox would make more money off of their own liscensed goods. Not calling you a noob, but what's so noobish about us? Just a question.
***Might be wrong about the coin counting, but that's what my Coinstar at the Schnucks in my town says. |
