This is a pretty big update. I split the game into two places: a main menu and the actual game place. The main menu holds your cases, inventory, and credits, meanwhile the game place holds the actual game place. You can now buy credits for robux. Any old camos are converted into credits at 4x the value. Here's an example: -You spent 100 robux on a camo before the update came out -Suppose you can currently get 300 credits for 100 robux in the credits store -You would get 1,200 credits, because if you spent those 100 robux on credits instead of that camo, you'd get 300 credits, which I'm multiplying by 4 to thank you for buying the camo earlier. Also if you bought paid-access you get 25 free credits. Soon players who bought the pre-order will get a free camo and free credits as well. Cases have been added as well. Inside you'll find 86 unique camos (which can be applied to any gun) and 10 unique skins, which are unique to their gun only. This is part 1 of a 2 part update. The second part is scheduled for April 6th. ---------- \/ OLD UPDATE \/ ---------- Small update, but lots of small changes. Mostly preparing for the big GUI overhaul and trying to make the game play smoother: -Walking over small stuff is easier -Jump delay -Jumping only once per 2 seconds to reduce spam -Characters recolored -Overall sensitivity raised by about 40% -Weapons rebalanced. Lower time to kill + higher recoil for most guns -Map/Lighting cleaned up a bit I've changed quite a lot even though it may not look like it when you first join, but there's been a lot of work put in. Here's a list of what I can remember off the top of my head: Character models now use half the parts and joints. This results in some serious performance gains! :smiley: Character models are pre-rigged with ragdolls, meaning the character that spawns is the ragdoll. No more deleting + instancing a new body (very expensive CPU-wise!) New character models don't require Motor C1/C0 to animate anymore (although in most non-expensive I still use them). Much less expensive Psuedo IK solving per frame! New character models are also modeled much more like a human. As a result the proportions of the limbs and torso/head look a lot nicer. Mixed my old (and inefficient) custom anchored-joints system with real roblox joints. As a result I have the customization and animation fluidity of the custom joints system without the performance loss. I only use these custom joints for: Handle, Mag, LeftPalm, RightPalm. Very little CPU usage but excellent visual improvements for animations! Blueay is now on the team and re-animating all the guns... which means: All of the guns in the new update are mesh (either optimized Unions in blender or custom built in blender, all done by VordonZon) The mesh triangle limit (2x union limit) + more efficient meshes (unions are terrible @ keeping reasonable triangle counts) results in most guns going down in part count by about 8x (most 40-part guns are now closer to 5 parts). The other advantage of this is the entire camo portion of the gun can now be one mesh, so textures (camos) are now seamless on the gun! exclusing the faces, of course We also figured out how to work around roblox's 0.2 stud limit on MeshParts by adding tiny triangles far away from the mesh itself. Glass now shatters as wedges and shatters with less detail at distance. Minor stuff, but helps performance and looks cooler Weapon framework redone somewhat. Spent close to 12 hours customizing all the values, adding new ones, and overall making it flow much smoother. As a result things like the SPAS-12/M200 Intervention feel really smooth. You can do things like rechamber a bolt or pump a shell while going in/out of aim animations, which is pretty neat in my opinion. I don't know how else to explain this other than "the game is more fun now." Things are more satisfying and the game flows smoother overall (I think, let me know if you've got changes I should add) Taking damage now screws with your camera. You take Damage*0.2 as added recoil each time you're hit! This is something I've really wanted because snipers have no trouble shooting back when damaged and it's really overpowered! As shown above, oil now spills from the robots when they're damaged. It takes into account how much damage was done and stuff All gun models removed (they used the old animation system + were unions + were animated crappily by me). I re-introduced the ACR/SPAS-12/Z-34 with proper animations and added the new M200 Intervention ---------- \/ OLD UPDATE \/ ---------- This update I redid the recoil system (again). A few guns were rebalanced with stats for recoil/spread/reload speed and I tried a new system for ragdolls which will ideally produce less lag. I also tried to patch the potential memory leak bug and adjusted the lighting settings a bit. ########## ## OLD UPDATE \/ ---------- This update focused on polish. I've been fixing bugs as I find them but I thought the guns felt a bit strange. I adjusted the recoil, spread, and some other values of every gun as well as made sniping a bit more satisfying and changed a few things here or there. -Running into things while sprinting no longer cancels sprinting -RPK iron sights adjusted -Weapon weights rebalanced (less weight for all weapons = faster movement) -Recoil/spread modified for all guns -M16A4 no longer uses burst-assist -M107a1, AKM, Z-34, and M1911 buffed -Spawns greatly improved -Spawning/bullet impact noise volume reduced -A few things in the game should feel "softer" -M107a1 handling should feel 'better' -Shooting at the torso does 115% damage. Head still does 140% ---------- \/ OLD UPDATE \/ ---------- The game is exiting Pre-Pre-Alpha and entering Pre-Alpha. I've rewritten most of the control code. Here's the update log: -M16A4 & Z-34 added -Kobra, Holographic, & Mini Red Dot added -Full-sized gun sights now removed attachments for pistols -ACOG/Red Dot adjusted (less camera clipping/slightly different angle) -Faster walkspeed (again) -Switch weapon sounds -Smaller UI for kills -Lazer bullets -Custom client humanoid replication -New bullet impact textures/dust particles -Redid sway/bobble/recoil/spread/RateOfFire -Crosshairs cleaned up a bit -Unused UI hidden -Killboard text adjusted -Crosshairs now accurately show spread -Aiming no longer uses springs -Arms now update after gun animation (bug fix) -Camera focus point no longer effected when aiming or sprinting -2 Optimization ideas -Redid sprint animation -Gun switch canceling/Custom switch animations -Ease into sprint animations -Aim on sniper scope moves gun, not transparency-based -All guns rebalanced for damage/range/accuracy/recoil/spread/weight -Add new map -Glass redone more efficiently -Bullet impact noises

this game is looking pretty good so far but there are a few things I hate. firstly the pp 19 and acr need there recoil fixed. did you nerf the shotgun cause it is not as good as it used to be. the snipers are very op and I find a lot of people sitting at the back of the map camping the whole game. m16 is great XD. next I would like to comment on the map. it is vey annoying how the ### #### to kill enemy's is to either A: camp at the back of the map or B: take a very long and boring flank. In summary I think you have a great gam so far I just feel you need a map change and a few tweeks to the gun. very excited about this gams release and good luck for the future

I am having some issues, I was playing the game but I discovered that Snipers are almost one hit, one kill. We were playing against a team full of Snipers so there wasnt much I could do. Also some spawn problems, I was spawing literally next to my enemy. At last, there were people flying all arounnd the map, making it hard to shoot at them.... But putting this problems aside, the rest of the game seems nice to me and I can see a bright future to this game. Good Luck!
