Guest - A Person who is not in the group and must send an application to join.
Entry Training - Here you will under go your basic training which will gain entry onto a watch and into the service. This will most likely be carried out by a member of the Leadership Team.
Training Firefighter - You passed the Entry level and you are now placed on a Watch. However you're still expected to attend training sessions and watches to learn on the job and get used to the feel of being on an actual watch.
Firefighter - Fully trained and qualified firefighter. You will be on the same watch and will carry out day to day duties of a firefighter.
Crew Manager - A crew manager is usually in charge of a crew of an appliance and will give you instructions on what the ICs on scene are wanting.
Watch Manager - The firefighter in charge of the Watch. Responsible for giving out Appliance assignments and roles. If the Watch Manager is the highest level of command on scene then the WM will take the role of Incident Commander.
Station Manager - The firefighter in charge of a station in the Dorset and Wilts area. Will attend larger incidents and take the command of incident commander.
Group Manager - The firefighter in charge of day to day duties of a specific group of stations in a specific policy area. If on scene then will take the IC duty.
Area Manager - Responsible for day-to-day management of an area of fire brigade operations or policy. Will take charge of major incidents or undertake specialist tasks such as support at an incident.
