I don't see how throwing 300 million+ mathematicians into a country is 'efficient'

We dominant China in terms of Olympic performance, military might and political influence. Economically they are 'better' because of regulations in the United States that makes it impossible to keep up with practically ##### labor. It could change with protection laws and deregulation. You would be extremely ignorant to think otherwise.
The US has the most elite special operation forces on the planet, the greatest military technology, bases around the world. Most of China's military is just conscripts with very little training compared to our lowest ranking soldiers. If you take a look at the US military spending you'd see how well and developed we are compared to theirs.
Political influence we would dominate in trade ## China's economy is mostly the US. We could turn to countries like India for example. China's economy would drop like a rock if the US (their main trading partner) put sanctions on them. , if a conflict arou######h China it wouldn't be a problem for people to side with America due to it's military might as well as China being KNOWN for doing several inhumane acts on their people and laws enforcing such inhumanity.
If there was a war as of now, you'd have America, most of Europe (if not all) backing the United States. Russia would remain neutral in such an event and China would have North Korea which that itself is laughable.
If the war was done right, and not following the rules of engagement that our enemies that advantage of, it wouldn't last over two years and that is being very generous on China's current position. ## China would be facing a huge scale of starvation from the outcome of the war with sanctions and such.
Tl;dr they would lose. America wins.
