United States Congress. Something that we should not take for granite. Members of congress should be loyal, hard-working, and active to fulfill their duties to the United States. Some congressmen and women create bills for themselves to achieve what they want. What I want, is what the American people want. As a senator, you represent a state and you do what is best for the people of that state and of the United States. Many forget that which I will not.
As a senator, they approve cabinet and director nominees. I will not be that senator that Denies or Approves a nominee for personal reasons. You vote on them based on their background, honesty, and reliability to the United States of America. That is exactly what I and other loyal senators will do to decrease corruption. To keep DC running we need active secretaries and directors to help lead our country. I have seen some senators deny loyal nominees for personal reasons which is very wrong and is preventing good leadership in this country. I will make sure that there is always a reason for approving for denying a nominee.
Any decision made by congress should be done in the face of the people in America. If a decision is decided by congress it should be what is in the best interest for the American citizens and that is the first thing I will think about when a vote occurs. I will always be there for the people and I am a person that you can count on.
