I'm compiling a list of things I should work on to improve my window manager-desktop environment THING I'm working on. i need to copy macOS's huge cursor feature for when you lose the cursor I'm writing the whole DE from scratch, from window manager to desktop greeter to web browser and file manager. I do mean everything. The goal is to make it so that my DE + package manager (pacman, yum, aptitude, whatever) + systemd (or sysvinit, doesn't matter) + Xorg (Yes Xorg, not Xfree86) + GNU + Linux is all you need for a full Linux distribution on par with the Windows or Mac experience. so NIHS to an extreme But seriously, I find GUI programming fun for some odd reason. Just the right blend of hair pulling frustration and quick and dirty results. I'd like to do more systems though.
