Even though Japanese is not my native tongue and I am not completely fluent in Japanese I believe I am at the level to where I would be able to teach a lot of important Japanese grammar to students.

Yes i've had a lot of conversations with Japanese people through penpal websites. While i am not always completely accurate they always know what i am trying to say.

Portuguese has the same letters as English, so yes, unless they don't know it. I'm sure you would understand a little since Portuguese and Spanish are very similar. If you mean in English, of course, I've learned English because I am talking to you.

Ask my peers for help. If they don't know, then look for other help. But if I do know the answer, patiently explain it to them.

I learned it later. I mostly use internet sources and have help from my friends who are native speakers. I have a lot of free time, so I think I learned/do learn pretty fast.
한국어는 제 모국어가 아니라서 그걸 나중에 배웠습니다. 많은 시간이 있으니까 다른 사람보다 빨리 공부를 한 것 같습니다. 한국말을 공부하려고 자주 온라인 리소스를 이용하고 한국인 친구들이 도와줬어요.
