cringey late night c&g rant from me inbound
am 16 years old now
She won't let me go places with my friends that I've known for years and she's even met and known them for years as well.
Friends aren't shady, not a bad group of people.
Always thinks that I need parental supervision where ever I go, no matter what.
and I mean I get that she cares (50% of the time) but my other friends don't have some mom who thinks that they are 10 lol
I hate having to continuously tell my friends that I can't go places because of my mom not allowing me to, especially at the age of 16.
She also claims that she "trusts" me but she won't allow me to go places
Always fights with me too
I try to reason with her but she always cusses me out and tells me to shut up, because apparently it's always her way or the high way

yea she would get annoyed when i came back, but she didn't really have an effective way of punishing me, it was just like no internet for a day or something, but I always had lots of other stuff to do and it didn't affect me at all.
you aren't 10 where she can just turn you over and spank you, you're almost an adult, her ability to restrain you is limited
that's not an excuse to go out and do stupid stuff without thinking though, she is still older than you and can say things that are worth listening to from time to time, and you should also respect her wishes considering she raised you, but if gets to a point where it is ridiculous stuff like you mentioned then just go and do it anyway

Well she only does this because she is your parent and she is always worried about you, I mean that's part of being a good parent she doesn't intentionally bother you or any thing but she knows what's best for you

am 18 (nearly) this isn't exactly true, my parents hate it when I go to parties and ring at 1am that I want to be picked up and they complain it's too late.
They also. don't like me going to parties anyway
They also don't like my good friends (the ones I go out with not to parties) and they aren't bad people
