any gun is harder than swords
i can take a good rcl'er/gunfighter, give them a sword and all they have to do is click, its a simple concept
you take a good swordfighters and give them a gun they will be completely lost
|
|

It's a fairly true statement. Anyone up for debating it is just way too blinded by their extreme attachment to swords. |

actually i play chess 43 hours a day to keep up with my sword fighting skills. it's obviously a technique simple minded people such as yourself couldn't comprehend
swordfighting is an art, and in order to achieve greatness, you have to be a masterful tactician and mouse wielder.

dude that is incorrect get some actual tryhard swordfighters and they will bring up "mouse movement" and "momentum" and "dodging"
|
|

uh no.
im pretty bad with RCL, and im okay with swords. on my VERY FIRST ucr training I went 13-1 with libertys.

############# maybe you should take into consideration the skill of the people you're fighting. Just because you do good against UCR members (which are not that good), and bad against RCLers, doesn't mean the gun determines the skill. |

depends what type of gun
but for the most part guns certainly take more skill than swords, 25% of the time sword fighting is based on luck.
somebody once told me the world was gonna roll me |

i can easily forcetie in swords and be good
"13-1 in a ucr training"
>ucr training
no skill required

It's all point of view. I've been on both sides, and each definitely take skill. You could say it's point and click with guns, just as with swords, but that would be false since it's much more than that. It takes skill to be able to have aim; to keep the mouse on your opponent. To know where to dodge. With the linked sword, the skill is based on movement. Since damage comes from the sword hitbox moving around the player's hitbox, therefore it's all based on subtle footwork. There are many techniques and tricks. You're looking at it superficially, which is completely true. But if you really dive deep into it there's a lot more. Same with guns. |

bro its pretty obvious guns take more skill
you need to focus on dodging and aiming at once, not dying, watching around the map at all times, reloads, and many other features
swords is the easiest thing ever, i used swords for a good 2 years, it's the simplest concept ever

I've been Sword fighting since 2008, I'm kind of drifting away from using them though because I agree with you. Swords are no longer skill-based as they used to be before the updates. Now, anyone with terrible Wi-Fi can be a sword fighting legend in a matter of days or someone who has great reach.
