Promotions for low ranked staff members who have shown exemplary service are allowed. If you have any questions regarding any information discussed, contact the Corporate Office. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 Group shout 30 minutes before scheduled time (may re-shout 15 minutes before). Server lock at the scheduled time. No exceptions will be made if late. Example of a good group shout: [TRAIN] Staff Training will begin in 30 minutes! Grab a chance to learn more about your career. (include training center link) The first thing you must do is line the staff in shoulder to shoulder (STS) on the bridge by the spawn. May answer questions and concerns that people have if they ask for assistance, but please have them stay in line. Once the server is locked and all trainers are ready, allow the trainers to select their own staff to their group. Each group will be supervised and taught by the trainer. ** Hosts and cohosts no longer assign LR staff to specified trainers as of April 3rd, 2017. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚 Before you begin, make sure to take your group to a spot where none of the other trainers are disrupted. Questioning each low rank is required. If staff with the rank “Trainee” have grammar that does NOT reach our standards, trainers are permitted to demote them to Valued Customer. Trainers like to do Trivia differently. These questions are now required (trainers can make up their own set of questions). Here are some popular methods: - Ask the entire group one question and have them answer at the same time. - Ask one person to answer for the entire group. - PM all of them individually and give them feedback on their answer. 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭/𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Q: What is your Host Greeting? A: Welcome to Soro's! How many is in your party today? (Answers may vary.) Q: How many Hosts can be at the podium? A: One. Q: Where should you stand if you are waiting to use the podium? A: To the side or behind the current host. Q: What do you do if you do not own any VIP passes? A: Ask an LR with the pass to serve them or ask an HR to let you in. 𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫/𝐖𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Q: Put in the following order: appetizer, dessert, entree, and drink. A: Drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Q: What do you do if you cannot read hash-tags? A: Ask an HR to translate for you. Q: What do you do if a customer asks for a check? A:Soro's does not have checks. Just role-play or let them know their meal is free. Q: What would you do if a customer asks for an item not on the menu? A: Tell them the menu is located in their inventory. 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 Q: Which food items require a bowl? A: Salad and soups. Q: If you aren't sure how to prepare a specific dish, where do you look? A: The Cookbook located on the top of your screen. Q: What is unique about desserts? A: They do not require any ingredients, they are ready made. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫 & 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 Once you are done with your trivia, lead the group into the kitchen and give them a brief tour. Give them an order to prepare and serve (Reminder: Tell them to not give the items until instructed to). Once all trainees are done, tell them to hand it. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠) Have them form a single file line and remind them of the warning rule. This portion of the training can be easily overdone. Do not be excessive because we do not want to offend people. Please be aware: - No stereotypes - Refrain from strong and vulgar language - You may wear a troll suit. - If a staff member gets uncomfortable, tone down your stimulation a little bit. If you are not comfortable trolling, you are able to just explain the warning process and what the definition of trolling is (spamming, inappropriate terms, threats, etc). ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 Once you have completed Trivia, Kitchen Tour, Performance and Customer Disturbance, you may dismiss your group and tell them to head on over to Soro's. Ask them if they have any remaining questions or concerns. Make sure to remind them that they can earn a promotion with worker points. If they have shown exemplary service, you may congratulate and promote them.
