Hello duelists,
I will explain here all of the rules to SDD's ranking system. The new ranking system is based of an Elo rating system, which basically awards you points for winning duels (it is a bit more complicated than that). There are numerous tiers that require a certain amount of rank points in order to achieve ranging from bronze to diamond. The duels you have to win in order to achieve these points and in turn the ranks will be best 2 out of 3 and there are a few other rules along with these duels.
How to Rank duel:
You will find an opponent and have a match duel with them (best 2 out of 3). You will then send a message to SDD_Rating the results of the duel. Ex: Player1 vs Player2 1-2 player2 won. The trusty Overseers who all have access to this account will regularly check this account to input your Elo changes. A few other rules to go along with the duels include:
1. You will NOT switch decks between duels.
2. You will NOT alter your dek in any way between duels.
3. A player does NOT have to accept your request to duel
What Exactly is Elo?
I wont go into detail here but it basically if you beat a player with more "skill" than you you are awarded more points and they lose more points than. Furthermore, if you lose against a player with higher "skill" you will not lose as many points and as a result they wont gain many points as it was an "expected win."
That is all if you have any questions please feel free to message me.
tl;dr important notes: Duels are match duels, send a message to SDD_Rating containing the result of your duels
