not to take anything away from you but it isn't that uncommon nowadays for people to accept video games on some applications. It's pretty generally accepted that the social interactions can hold some weight. |

In the past couple of years, I’ve encountered many leadership-like experiences, all of which hold the same weight. These experiences have built my appetite for strategizing, creating, and guiding others. I have been described as a leader by not only by my teachers but my peers as well, especially the people I have worked with on assignments. My leadership traits have not been limited to social situations, however; they are also displayed in my personal hobbies.
A former hobby of mine is playing online video games. One game, in particular, had the most available leadership opportunities. At some point during my time on this game, I created a stratocratic group which offered me the chance to manage others. The time I spent on this group started with managing capable developers to help enact the ideas I had; when we were finished, we opened and recruited hundreds of people, all of whom I led, taught, and inspired.
There are many more examples that could be named, but I chose this one because it was my very first leadership experience. My ambitions to lead have not slackened since then, and it appears they never will; I always find a way to act as either a creator, strategist, or manager in whatever new hobby I find.
I hope that by enlisting in your program, I can understand the art of leadership better. Thank you for reading.
