Hello citizens of New port. As you may know, I am currently running for Governor of Newport. With your help we can make Newport safer, and make departments less abusive.
As New port is a safe community, sometimes it gets out of hand. With your help I will promise you that I will try my very best to do everything I can to help all of you.
Currently New port is having its ups and ###### I will make a much safer community by passing new laws and ideas along with elections with government positions. I will promise you that there will be a ZERO tolerance policy with abusive force of the permissionings they have.
Some departments do abuse occasionally. You may have witnessed it before. I will pass a meeting and more details to follow later on with the abuse policy. I will make sure, and promise you that with me as your Governor there will be absolutely NO abuse in our departments. If any Department Supervisors do, I will make them go through a second background check of their past experiences. If they wouldn’t pass, they would not be able to become a HICOMM.
Now, if any Department heads would ever have to be replaced, I would make a certain choice in the department. It will go to the 2nd in command or someone that the State would appoint by the people's agreement with the decision. Nothing would be able to change without the citizen’s agreement. Without the people's agreement we would go no where. Citizens need to agree on who will be serving the LEO’s, as they will be protecting them.
Department of Commerce - The Department of Commerce SHOULD be relevant, but it isn't. Unfortunately, it's just not taken seriously. Often a question I find myself wondering is "What makes a company in New port legitimate?". I don't believe just running a company by the Dept. of Commerce and getting it approved should be enough. Newport needs a solid official set of guidelines to what makes a company legitimate. If elected, I want to introduce guidelines that will solidify what makes a company a company. For example, if someone wants to open up a restaurant company in Newport, they must both be approved by the Department of Commerce (approval means that the company is not infringing on any Newport laws and also ROBLOX rules) and also has a physical presence in one of our cities. Companies like news corporations are a bit different, and I will of course employ the best people in this group to assist me in drafting up official regulations regarding the matter. What I will NOT do is deny people through the Department of Commerce who want to start a legitimate business. The DoC should and will be an unbiased business approval agency the under the Secretary.
Department of State - I believe that we should fix the problems in Newport before we work on Foreign relations. Hopefully if I am elected, I will deal with the problems and get the DoS up and running, as Foreign relations is not as important as making the state better.
Gun control - I propose a little more strict gun laws, but not so much that they’re inaccessible to the public. I want background checks on those who desire to purchase guns, you may be able to, but you need to be checked in Newport’s arrest database first. Which will decide whether you can have a firearm or you can’t. I feel that the accessibility of firearms within Newport is a threat to our public’s safety, so this is why we have chosen to do this. We know that some of you are upset by the fact that it is harder for you to get a firearm, but we do this for the safety of citizens. Do not feel like we are taking the right of a firearm away from you, because we are just trying to make sure that citizens use firearms in a legal way.
Department of Justice - This hits home to me. Literally one of the biggest functions of the Department of JUSTICE is to prosecute those who break our state laws. Plain and simple, We need a COMPETENT AND STABLE LEADERSHIP that will guide the DoJ to success in not only prosecuting the wrongdoers QUICKLY but also in overseeing all DoJ sub agencies so that these sub agencies are successful in their operations. These sub agencies, along with other departments may have new weekly trainings to ensure that the employees are qualified for their jobs within the departments. If included, these trainings will have set standards that employees must meet. They will depend on rank, and department.
Department of Public Safety - As we know, some departments have been abusive and we have found some incompetent employees within them. To us, this is completely unacceptable. Newport should be a happy state where the public feels safe. To help this, we could add a schedule to the DoPS that is open to the public, letting them know that DoPS is working to make sure our departments are working to the best of their ability. It will start with NPOST, NFA, then it will go into NSP, all the sheriff's offices, All fire departments, DoT, DoC, DoJ, then move onto the rest of the departments. We take public safety very seriously, and that’s why we are reviewing the points where our employees learn how to do their jobs right, first.
Grand Theft Auto - Many citizens, maybe even you have experienced your vehicle being stolen from you. This is of big enough concern with us that we have decided to put a whole section just on this topic. Our law enforcement agencies will do whatever they can to help with GTA, but it does not prevent it. Newport needs a leadership that will pay close attention to minor or major problems like this. If we get elected, we will attempt to reduce Grand Theft Auto by introducing a locking system to vehicles, and discussing stricter laws that stop GTA from happening. These laws may prevent citizens from legally touching other citizen’s property without permission. This way, criminals who steal another citizen’s vehicle may have more added to their charge. These are only a couple ways we could help prevent GTA.
