"it's hard to determine if you agree with my post, like it somewhat, or flat out hate it. if you like my post, but dont agree with some things, you could say something along the lines of, "i like the idea, but there are some things that are off," and proceed to give me constructive criticism. then give me revisions of my idea."
I did. I started with why it wasn't good. Then you got mad, and here we are.
"but no, your self righteous self decides to stir some drama by trying to break down my IDEA, leafy style, and almost even make a fool of me, as if i was trying to introduce ODing into roblox."
I don't think you really know what self-righteous means. No, I didn't try to break you down "leafy" style considering that leafy is actually horrendous and what I said made a level of sense.
'when you quote me, many problems occur. when i type something, i mean one thing, but then you interpret it as something else, and using direct quotes to get your point across is bad, because now if i try to correct myself and say i meant something else, you could quote THAT, and use that as evidence against me.
i know you didn't address my other half, when did i ever say that was bad? in your last paragraph, you pulled a statement out of thin air, all from my own quote,
"oh wait, you don't have any, you just have your little assumptions and out-of-context quotes and responses."
now, point in this quote exactly and precisely where i mentioned that you didn't address my second half of my post. can you? no, you can't because i never did.
this is EXACTLY what i mean by taking quotes out of context. this is EXACT PROOF of you doing this.'
Oh for goodness sake. What did you want me to do, quote it all? I quoted a sentence that summarized your idea rather than quoting the entire thing. I did this on the basis that you would know the context because IT IS YOUR IDEA. I never removed it from it's context, I just didn't restate the entire context because it was already there! It didn't need to be restated!
No, no I didn't pull that out of thin air. The point I made in the above paragraph should have been obvious, thus the only other context that it could have been removed from was the rest of the thread! This isn't a big leap, and it wasn't from nowhere! Statements made have implications, and addressing those implications is not butchering the context or making stuff up!
"so now, tell me what point you are trying to get across. do you like or hate my idea? is there anything wrong with my system that i need to fix? try telling me WITHOUT saying stihit like, "did you even think this through?" because clearly i did, and you are being pretty rude by doing so."
I've mentioned several things wrong with the system already. My personal preference on the idea is inconsequential if it's heavily flawed. The reason I saw "you didn't think this through" is that if you had actually thought it through, you would have already anticipated these flaws! Thinking it through is more than, "Oh, I have an idea. I'll put up a couple paragraphs on it and not consider the flaws in it at all." A thought through idea will already have anticipated some problems that people might bring up, and it will have addressed them by either offering a counter or adjusting the solution. This idea doesn't do that! It offers no benefit to established players (in fact it brings annoyance), it offers practically no benefit for newer players, and it really does nothing for newly created accounts.
Listen, I'm sorry if you have thought I was rude. I know that when you get an idea in your head, you want to get it out there. I've been there. But, you have to take the time to look at all the angles and see if the benefits you first saw in your head actually exist.
