For a while now, we've been seeing super teams like the Tyrants and the Bulls with tons of big name players that put up big stats, win big awards, and perform highly. Conversely, these super teams, stacked to the top, affect the league in a negative way. There are only 3 teams with a winning record, and we have stumbled upon possibly the worst, most inactive, hopeless team in DBL history, the S14 Los Angeles Aliens, currently 0-13. In NRBA, we were seeing a similar behavior, with two very stacked teams in opposing divisions per season. It ultimately ruins the all around competition of the league and, from personal experience in both old and new, it gets boring just whooping all the mediocre teams and then occasionally facing the other super team. THEN, this season, we added salary caps. Based on a players reputation, statistics, talent and award history, the Board of Directors and Commissioner would predetermine all active player's salaries before the season starts. The salary scale would be 1-10 million, 1 being minimum, 10 being max (Rookies are free, no salary established since we have no prior statistics to judge their value from). The salary cap for each team being 40 million. For example, Bob is the GOAT of DBL. He leads the league in every category, pitching and hitting. He is undoubtedly worth 10 mil. So, if the Tyrants offer Bob, and he accepts, they now have 30 mil to deal with. This means, that you could no longer stack your teams with tons of high priced, all star players. This would leave superstars having to go to other teams, therefore evening out the league's competition. It's unrealistic to have 7 all stars on one team and be able to afford it. So let's change that.
