Today, I'm going to be addressing a serious issues with hosts, regarding the DR genre we have. You probably guessed it with the dramas on the wall, but I'll be talking about Protagonists, and why they shouldn't be allowed in seasons.
What is a protagonist? In this case, it's a person who literally has plot armor against everybody and will survive no matter what you say. You can't kill them, they can't die (unless they specifically asked to die. I would too if I was a protagonist). Most of the time, admins are the protagonists of these hosts, and are favorited as well as fame.
Here are some basic examples of benefits regarding being protagonist:
BENEFITS OF BEING PROTAGONIST:
- Literally plot armor, you're protected for the entire host.
- Watch all your friends die around you.
- Cool Ahoge, because protagonists always get Ahoges.
- Trial spotlight (sometimes)
- You're favorited.
Now, with benefits also comes disadvantages.
DISADVANTAGES OF BEING PROTAGONIST:
- You literally make everyone feel like they're not special, or simply just not good enough.
- Watch all your friends die around you. Can't be sharing that spot, can you?
- Some people will outright hate you, thinking you're part of the favoritism from the host.
- Seriously, nobody will like you.
- It's very annoying
You should feel special if you're chosen a protagonist, becusse that means everyone else isn't.
