Daline "Marie" Moreau Deline Moreau is among the many born with a supernatural gift. Deline's powers first manifested during school at the age of eight. Deline is a caring, compassionate person.. but with her compassion came a curse. During class Deline began hearing voices within her head, but she hadn't know what the cause of it had been. Talking to her parents, she convinced her mother to get her "help". No one seemed to know what the problem had been with Deline, though rumors began to spread that the girl had been psychic. With these accusations many began to believe Deline to be a mutant. Deline began to study upon what may have been wrong with her soon finding out that she had a mental ability, known to be telepathy. She studied books about this ability soon practicing it herself. Being caught using the ability, Deline had been threatened, and had feared what would actually happen to her. In fear of being exposed, Deline told her parents what she believed was wrong with her, though they hadn't believe her the threats caused them to pack their things and began to move on with their lives. Little did they know, the town had conspired against them. One day outside of their home, her parents found many of the town folk standing out with torches, threatening to harm them if they hadn't handed Deline over. Deline's parents had hidden her within their home. A fire began to spread and the house began to burn down, killing both her parents. Delina survived as she had created a barrier of energy protecting herself. The town had believed them all to be dead. Deline had lost her parents and planned a plot of revenge on the entire town. The rage that built up inside ###### caused her to discover another ability. Practicing this abbility for months while staying hidden, Deline attempted to put her plan into action. Deline made her way into the town where she then began to create fire, just thinking of it, killing everyone within the town and burning the town down. ###### fleed away, reaching out for help. It began to become dificult for Deline to control this newly discovered power. A woman seeked to help Delina control her power. Agetha Harkness trained Deline under her wing. Magneto discovered Agetha's plan about the girl, through one of his spys. Magneto wanted the girl for his own and decided to convice Agetha to hand Deline over, and so she did. Magneto offered her a place in his Palace within Genosha. He offered her everything she could have wanted and more. Delina trained with Wanda Maximoff, to help her increase her powers. With in Genosha one day Delina had seen a mutant being punished, she couldn't believe what she had been seeing. She followed where they took the mutant, and discovered that there had been an underground level where Magneto kept, and prisoned mutants that did not do as he say, or respected the rules of Genosha. Deline had a plan to free the mutants, and so she did. Displaying a powerful act of energy, Deline destroyed the entire underground after freeing the mutants, and Magneto send both his daughters, and his Alcolytes to destroy Deline. Using her powers to try warping reality, Wanda had noticed this power hadn't worked with Deline, and entirely had no idea why. She attempted supressing Deline's powers all together, to only be overwhelmed and placed into an unconcious state. In Genosha, Deline had been saved by the X-Men, Cyclops, Rogue, and Storm. Once they explained how they found her and wanted to help her, she took the offer and went with the X-Men. Once leaving, Wanda had awaken finding herself within her room in Genosha. Wanda made a vow to her father that she would find and kill Deline for her deception. Deline trained for her spot on the team and became an official member. With this she trained everyday to continue to prove and keep that position. Later Xavier became surprised with learning that Delina hadn't been a mutant, nor could he discover what she had been.
