I really think that the Cavs might not make it this year. Golden State might not either. I'm hoping for Boston or Toronto to come out of the East, and Spurs in the West.

Why do so many ppl find the NBA interesting. It's a league dominated by few players and requires the least teamwork of any major sport. /ℯ ςαℸωℴღαη

Because people do? Why do people like the NHL? Why do people like the MLB? Why do people like the NFL?

first of all, basketball is one of the most entertaining sports to watch (not even the NBA, just basketball in general) second, few players? there's so much talent in the NBA right now on pretty much every team in one form or another that's such a ludicrous statement. "requires the least teamwork" this is so stupid? basketball is a team sport. yes to a casual fan or just someone who doesnt know basketball, it might seem as if lebron, the beard, and russ win their teams games by themselves, but really its not true at all.. teams like the knicks are not successful are specifically not successful because they cant play as a team. however, the cavs, rockets, spurs and warriors (just to name a few) play as teams and they are some of the most successful teams.

okay, thats a way better answer than just "ppl do". i guess its just because i'm below the level of a casual NBA fan. Idk I just always see the same teams going far (same with the NFL) -.- /ℯ ςαℸωℴღαη

"second, few players? there's so much talent in the NBA right now on pretty much every team in one form or another that's such a ludicrous statement." because the salary cap is insanely high that allows teams to stack up on stars

"amazing answer" ok so is there another reason why people like the NBA then? cause I can't think of any other one

you misunderstand my statement. I know teams are stacked and that is kind of a problem, but every team has talent on it.. even the bad teams like the 76ers and Lakers have all-star potential players. and you realize salary cap doesnt necessarily mean teams can stack up on stars because players will know teams have more cap and will want more money.. stacked teams are a result of sacrifices from players who want to win so bad they take a paycut just to be able to be recorded in history. this could happen in any sport, but it just so happens its more common in this one.

pretty sure people like stuff for more reasons than just because "they do". I like the NHL because it's not a contact-shy sport like Basketball and isn't a diving frenzy like soccer. It's not a scoring frenzy like Basketball and isn't as repetitive to my eye as a sport like basketball or baseball. It's also one of the more balanced leagues in major sports thanks to its salary cap which does a good job at preventing stacking. /ℯ ςαℸωℴღαη

yeah its a highly opinionated answer but I know others that like the NHL can relate. idk to me seeing the basketball going in the hoop so many times in a game kind of devalues scoring for me. /ℯ ςαℸωℴღαη

"Why do so many ppl find the NBA interesting. It's a league dominated by a few players and requires the least teamwork of any major sport." >Criticizes the NBA >Openly admits she doesn't find it interesting, therefore proving her opinion is almost completely false >Forgets the fact that people don't just shoot when they get the ball and actually burn time passing for an open shot, which takes more teamwork than throwing a ball in the air and having nothing but hope for someone catching it or someone hitting a baseball near the wall with only hope that it does not go over the wall or the sheer hope of goals being scored in the NHL and MLS. >Forgets that the NBA is one of the only sports that actually allows for teamwork from more than 2 or 3 men at a time like the NFL, MLB, and many other sports rarely do. Those other 2 being the NHL and MLS, but no on###i#####h###L####>Does not consider the fact that there wouldn't be points on the board unless you're Steph Curry if no one else was on the team with you. as you can see here, the WHOLE NBA is getting exciting. this is the only thing to watch other than NHL, and NFL during the WEEK DAYS and when the NHL and NFL HAS THERE OFFSEASON it's not because of the playoffs, it's about how Russ got a avg a triple double and someone else other than the cavs getting the 1st seed. the nba is getting better. i don't like to keep on seeing the Warriors vs Cavs every year. I WANT A NEW ONE.

Literally almost every sport has some crap behind it that makes it unwatchable at times. Off the top of my head NBA > Constant team stacking and overpowered teams that have 0 loyalty. And I ran the RNHL during the Chicago Dragons era NHL > Pointless expansions when a handful of teams are struggling to sell tickets NFL > Egotistical owners that care more about their profit rather than the players or the fans

If you work hard enough any team can win the championship (See my Mavericks in 2011)
