That's because there were unavoidable reasons for the tix update due to dev-exchange ruining the economy.
Friends and followers, new site theme- people got used to then and liked them in the first place.
Skin tone protest worked. Just go look at "Advanced" and you can recolor your skin to whatever you want.
Friends list they have said they are open to improving. Several developers on the devforum suggested that they simply display avatar pictures, or how many are in a server. Solution right now is to friend everybody- which the bots have been doing through friend request botting, so it isn't helping anybody. Once they get in on your friend chain, they use that to view servers and start spamming "robux here!" at some shady website.
Hopefully they get down to compromising on that one soon. For now though, just friend everybody you can and hope you don't go over the limit of 160 friends or whatever it is now.

But you're right, it definitely isn't the same game as it was when I joined in 2011 (old account).
It got to big, expanded to to many platforms. It's always been noticed by the news media, but now that's become problematic with how big its getting.
Of course, Minecraft will always be way more known, thanks to youtubers. And though they did have their phaze with Roblox, it seems like they've moved on to the next big minecraft thing, drawing everybody back. (When was DanTDM's last Roblox video again?)
So yeah. It's just...Roblox. And I guess that is what it always will be. |

Reason I might give up on ROBLOX is not because of the updates and the filters. It's because of some of players. I mean, if you look all over the forum, people ask for stuff, and chances are, they get called an oder. It's like people abuse terms and use it for stuff that it is not related to it. Also, you see bullies because of how people think (relating to your other post) about each other, and the mods don't do anything about it. It gets really annoying also. Really. ROBLOX needs to take better care of the site. Every other bad update is like another dagger going through the chest of ROBLOX, and once the cut is deep enough, ROBLOX is dead. I agree and relate with you oggy.
