Regular promotion system often makes people feel neglected mainly because the host is either, 1) bias and never promotes them, 2) they're just bad and it's hard for them to earn promotions. On the other hand, if you use a point system people will still get promoted after earning an x amount of points.

I don't like the regular promotion system because I think it promotes bias.

Depends on how large the clan is. If it isn't a superclan, then I recommend you use a mixture of both. Points are a good way to track activity. But they can say nothing of the content of one's character. Also, communicating on promotions is always an easy way to get HRs working together... it gives them a constant mutual task.

I dislike the points system because it focuses on attendance rather than skill. Someone who can't even sword fight can get carried by his teammates to MR+. On the other hand, I do see the disadvantages with the regular promotion system. As stated, bias is a big issue. The only fix to this I can think of is getting better HRs. :^) Really though, just play around with both and see which ones you like. You could even combine them. For example, if you gain a certain amount of points, you are guaranteed a rank-up, but if you perform exceptionally well for your current rank, you could get promoted by an HR.

point system isnt going to remove bias in a clan ive seen people get free prestige/xp without earning them and ive seen people get promotions without earning them

Point System: Makes it to where any bias is removed Can make it so it's longer/harder for people to get promoted Gives a chance for even the weakest fighters to prove they have leadership potential Regular Promotional System: Allows a bias to take place, making is so stronger leaders/fighters get promoted faster Based on the amount of events you host a day, people can go up five ranks a day Usually only the strong/favorites get promoted TheDarkVaraug, Evan || Add 23,771 Posts

I've been to point system training where when I join an event is already taking place. I'm waiting in the lobby/spectator area for it to finish, and get awarded the points with the winning team, even though I wasn't in the event.

points system but only if the high ranks stop guessing how many points to give to each person
