recently I have been playing roblox with my graphics very high and now!!! my screen starts to tear but I suppose if your asking I shall tell you why this happens, there is no option due to the fact that a while back roblox added a dumb feature where your speed is linked with your fps (eg. lag people would run super slow from the vision of someone with a good pc) and people who achieve the cap fps... and they would be running at the max speed and roblox wont let you go higher than the cap. because your speed would be crazy fast if your computer was awesome, so thus making there no option for disable v sync

My fps doesn't go pass 60. Vsync is suppose to stop screen tearing by locking fps to one's monitor's refresh rate. My refresh rate is 60hz. And its strange how it only tears in full screen.

I think I know why. It is probably because of the new Windows 10 Creators Update which updates Windows Gaming mechanics. Probably ROBLOX should update itself to be compatible with this optional new update that most gamers will get.

Nope, I've updated drivers (I have AMD), updated windows and tried everything, but I still get screen tearing with the normal roblox application. The Windows Store ROBLOX doesn't have screen tearing in fullscreen but sometimes fullscreen doesn't work. I've read that going back to an older version before the creator updates fixes this, but I haven't tried this because I have too many files I don't want to lose.

Hey if you are reading, I found the fix. Go into Gaming Settings and uncheck "Show game bar when I play full screen". It fixed it for me.

Where is the Gaming Settings located? I can play fine without full screen but when its on screen tear appears.

You have to be getting 60FPS for no tearing. 60Hz is 60FPS. So if you can get above 60FPS and stay above with out drops, your not going to have a Steady no tearing screen. Mine is 144Hz and, I'm fine I'm a lot of games if your PC can handle the Resolution and the high minimal of the Hz Refresh rate.
