For 1 player servers. All the scripts would be local, and every function in studio would have to be downloaded to work/ offline compatible.
Then we can have Roblox on devices like the Nintendo Switch, DS, and PSP. |

this isn't possible to do that. |

Bump
@mario Sure it is. Just disable/limit some services.
Roblox studio runs offline- albeit not very well, and with broken character loading as well as :WaitForChild("Character") |

ROBLOX is supposed to be an online engine where players can post their creations ONLINE.
I don't see how it's possible to set up some games if everything is offline.
#code print('Folow your dreams, fast, -sanic') |

^ Not everything. I'm asking for an ability to make some things offline.
Studio already can be run offline... so just make a version of studio that is even more compatible with offline mode (as the current one isn't), and a Roblox player/app compatible offline. Online 1 player games are downloaded by the user to be played offline while the user is away from an internet connection, etc. |

So you want it to be like Gmod, basically? |
|
|
^ Kind of. Except without all the mod pack stuff. You download games instead. |

While the idea of downloading games for offline play is cool, what's stopping people from downloading games and reuploading them as their own?
Encryption can be used, what once that encryption is broken, that's it; any game will be available for the taking. |
|
|
Simple: When the game is downloaded it only downloads a player-based version, not an editing version. |

People will develop a converter. Studio files are XML after all. |
